Thanks to the resident doctor ,he started a treatment for the dementia shortly after she got there and she has improved almost back to normal . She doesn’t complain about pain anymore. Even though she takes less pain medication.

My mom has been here at Retama North for several years now and my dad and I are very pleased with the care the staff has given her. They are always very friendly and helpful to us. Many times while I have visited her different staff members have come to talk to her and they always let me know how much they like and enjoy her. The staff also Is very good about letting my dad know if there are any problems or issues going on with her and they stay on top of them.

At one point both of my parents were in this facility. My mom has passed but the care they gave her up til her last breath was amazing! How do I pay for my time at your facility?
We work with most major insurances–including Medicare and Medicaid–to cover your stay and services provided. Use the contact form or give us a call to answer questions about your specific plan or provider.
What should I bring with me during my stay?
In general, we will provide you with basic essentials for living and hygiene. If you have specific products you like to use, please feel free to bring them. You’ll need comfortable clothing for 7-10 days, and any personal items you’d like to have, though we recommend leaving jewelry and valuables at home.
Who do you treat for rehabilitation services?
We are a skilled nursing facility, or SNF. Our therapists specialize in physical, occupational, and speech therapy to help individuals regain their independence at home. Typical patients are elderly, and require rehab following an accident or surgery, and their stay is usually covered by insurance. We do not offer drug or alcohol rehabilitation services.
